I am an avid reader, and nothing makes me happier than discovering new books. If you are anything like me, then here is a compilation of 10 books I believe every psychologist, therapist, counselor, mental health professional should definitely read. It is also a list of books beginner therapists should read. And if you are a psychology student, this list of Psychology books could also e quite useful.

I included a psychology book by Kenyan psychology author, Jennifer Kyalo.

Watch the video compilation or read the list below.

In no particular order, here is the list
1. Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl
2. How to Think Straight about Psychology by Keith E. Stanovich
3. Dopamine Nation by Anna Lembke
4. How the Mind Works by Steven Pinker
5. How Emotions Are Made by Lisa Feldman Barrett
6. Willpower by John Tierney and Roy Baumeister
7. Set Boundaries, Find Peace by Nedra Glover Tawwab
8. Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents by Lindsay C. Gibson
9. Letters to a Young Therapist by Mary Pipher
10. Dear Beginner Therapist by Jennifer Kyalo

Have you read any of these? Do you have a psychology book recommendation?
